DOT models meet the federal safety standard for street use, while novelty shells are a lighter, low-profile choice for off-street wear. Are your helmets DOT approved?

Some are. We carry both DOT-certified helmets, which meet the federal safety standard for street riding, and novelty helmets, which are not certified and are intended for off-street use. Each product page states whether a helmet is DOT-rated.

What's the difference between a DOT and a novelty helmet?

How should a motorcycle helmet fit?

A helmet should be snug all the way around with no pressure points, and it shouldn’t shift when you shake your head. Measure your head just above the brows and compare to the size chart on each product page, or get fitted in person at our Norwalk shop.

What are your shipping and return policies?
